We got a brief ride in a prototype of the Tesla Model S all-electric sedan, and as far as we could tell from the passenger seat, it seemed like a luxury performance bargain for just $57,400. Of course, being just a passenger means any evaluation is more or less just a guess. A 1941 CADILLACE custom-built for the Duke and Duchess of Windsor is to be auctioned in New York City. Dubbed The Duchess, the limousine features rose-coloured broadcloth upholstery, four jewellery cases and three cigar lighters. It's estimated to fetch between 500,000 and 800,000 dollars (£309,000 to £494,000) when it is sold on November 21 by Sotheby's and RM Auctions.
Honda has teamed up with Mugen again for a new hotrod special - but this one's a hybrid. The new Honda CR-Z Mugen is a slightly more ecologically sound proposition than the banzai 2009 Civic Type R Mugen, and brings the race car treatment to Honda's hybrid coupe. However, at this stage it's a one-off prototype, with no firm commitment to build even a limited run.
